Conservatism After(?) Trump: Frustration and Factionalism in the American Right

This presentation examines the various, sometimes overlapping right-wing groups that struggled for dominance during the Trump presidency: the traditional mainstream conservatives, the "national populists," the MAGA movement, the libertarians, and the Alt-Right. It discusses where each of these groups stands now, in terms of influence over the Republican Party and American politics more broadly. It also speculates about which groups are in a strong position moving forward.
