Just as the historic Shawnee Trail once connected Texas to the broader nation, this conference connects minds passionate about America's founding principles and political landscape.

J.P. Bryan Jr.

A native Texan and lateral descendant of Stephen F. Austin, J.P. Bryan has spent over five decades in energy and investment banking, including leadership roles at J.P. Morgan, Gulf Canada Resources, and as Chairman & CEO of Torch Energy Advisors. Beyond business, he's devoted his life to historic preservation, serving as president of both the Texas Historical Foundation and Texas State Historical Association. Bryan founded The Bryan Museum in Galveston, which houses the world's largest collection of artifacts relating to American West history. A passionate speaker and author, he continues to give hundreds of presentations on Texas and American West history. Full bio.
