America's Financial Future

  • UCCS: Hybl 225 (see map below) 4925 North Nevada Avenue Colorado Springs, CO, 80918 United States (map)

How financially dangerous is our national debt?  Is our country on an unsustainable fiscal path? If so, what are the potential resolutions?  In this talk, we will explore how the U.S. government financed three defining conflicts — World War I, World War II, and the War on COVID-19. We will then examine our current "unsustainable" fiscal trajectory and consider potential resolutions, ranging from adjusting spending and taxes to economic growth and inflation.

This event is open and free to the community. Parking is free and light refreshments will be provided.
